Paekākāriki Housing Trust partner with Dwell Housing Trust to deliver local property management service

We’re delighted to announce that Paekākāriki Housing Trust (PHT) have partnered with Dwell Housing Trust to deliver our local property management service! We've done this because we don't have the capacity to manage the day-to-day operations. 

Dwell are a community housing provider who have been managing properties in Wellington and the Kāpiti Coast for more than 40 years. Their values align with ours and they provide a high level of service for a competitive flat fee.  PHT aren't 'clipping the ticket' and there are no extra charges. 

All day-to-day activities (rents, bonds, inspections, reports, tenant support, maintenance, and dealing with other tenancy issues) will be managed by Dwell. PHT will hold the local relationships with property owners and advertise for and recommend new tenants. 

PHT prioritise housing for locals and those with a connection to Paekākāriki, whānau with children who attend the kura and playcentre, mana whenua, and the elderly. 

Through this partnership we continue the good work of supporting a sustainable, connected, and thriving community.

Please consider moving your rental property over to our service or making your Airbnb in to a rental property. Although we encourage below market rents, we understand that not all landlords can do this, so we'll take care of any property here that complies with the legally required healthy homes standards.
