2023 AGM and community hui

Ngā mihi those of you who joined in for our AGM on 25 November 2023. Kōrero and kai - a perfect match!

We were lucky to hear from Karl Farrell - updating us on his mission for a return of land and family home; Soozie and Mihi from Te Ahuru Mowai speaking about their kaupapa. We are stoked to know you now own and manage 3 rentals in Paekākāriki ; and Christian Judge giving us an update from news on housing fof older people from KCDC.

We voted in Mandy Preston and Mike Stringfellow as trustees, and re elected Mark Galbraith. They join trustees Anne Woodside, Rongo Ngata, Alia Bloom, Jade Rameka, Marti Hartley-Parsons and Susie Pegler.

We farwelled chair Linda McLaughlan. Linda has been part of the trust since its inception, and is stepping down to move on to other things.

Anne Woodside is the new co-chair… her ‘co’ will be shared once trustees meet to discuss.

Thanks again for your support, Paekākāriki Kia ora, we held our 2023 AGM and community hui on Saturday 25 November 2023. We farewelled outgoing co-chair Linda McLaughlan, confirmed our Trustees and were delighted to welcome new ones.
